Curriculum Corner

The Maple Shade Township School District is proud to offer a rigorous and challenging research-based curriculum to our students in pre-k through twelth grade.  We use a collaborative approach in developing curricula that involves teachers, administrators, and the Board of Education.  A central component of our curriculum model is technology integration.  For more information, please review the Five Year Curriculum Plan.

The Administrators of the Maple Shade School District are proud to consider themselves part of a family – an extended family that consists of children, parents, grandparents, school staff, and the overall community.

Working together for the betterment of the children in our community, we have accomplished many positive achievements that identify our school district as a leader in education and one where children are encouraged to grow and achieve.

Listed below are just a few of the many areas that the Maple Shade community can be proud of:

  • Realigning the schools by grade level to afford students the ability to attend class with their age level peers and to allow teachers to implement grade level research-based strategies that assist students in all subject areas

  • Full-Day kindergarten classes with KidWriting and Guided Reading programs which provide students with a solid foundation for learning

  • Increased academic instruction time in both Math and Language Arts in all schools, bringing about student strength and consistency in these subject areas
