MSSD Task Force Being Formed

MSSD Task Force Being Formed
Posted on 10/02/2017

Dear Maple Shade Families,

This school year we will be creating a district task force to examine some of the greater needs of the district. It has been about twelve years since our last referendum and with some debt retiring in the next few years, it is a great time to start the discussion. The task force responsibilities will include analyzing the district's facility needs by walkthroughs and observations, evaluate the change in population growth and share important opinions from the community. A school district should be a sense of pride for the community and everyone has value as a part of our team. We are not limiting this task force to just parents of Maple Shade families, but other community members as well. If you know someone who would like to be involved, please pass on this information to them.

Our meetings will be at night at 6:00 p.m. We will meet no more than once a month. Our first meeting will be October 19, 2017. Please meet at the Maple Shade High School library. This meeting will be the time to share ideas, gather information and learn the history of the district's progress over the years.

There are two ways in which you may indicate your interest. First, you may simply have your child return this form to their school. You may also send an email to to indicate your desire to be a part of the committee.

Planning and investing in our future is an important step in our development in all areas, Your voice matters. Hope to see you on the 19th. Sincerely, Beth Norcia Superintendent
