Steinhauer Elementary School has an Intervention and Referral Service (I&RS) to assist teachers in meeting the needs of individual children.  Members of the  I&RS team include classroom teachers, the school counselor, a member of the Child Study Team, and the Principal.  This group meets monthly to develop strategies to work with children and to make school a positive learning experience for children experiencing difficulties.   Should you have any questions regarding our I&RS Team, please contact the school counseling office.
