Good morning Maple Shade families,

Due to a water main break on Route 73 that will impact water usage at Howard Yocum School, including restroom facilities, Howard Yocum School will operate on a two-hour delay today, Friday, October 16.

Howard Yocum School will begin at 10:53 a.m. All buses will arrive at their designated stops two hours later than their regularly scheduled pickup times.

Please also note that the YMCA before-school program at Howard Yocum will be closed this morning.

This delay applies ONLY to Howard Yocum School. All other Maple Shade schools will operate on their regular schedules.

We understand that last-minute schedule changes can be challenging for families, especially in the morning, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We appreciate your flexibility, patience, and understanding as we work to ensure that our school is ready to safely welcome students and staff.

Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.

Beth Norcia, Superintendent
