Dear Parents and Families of Maple Shade,

Welcome back to the 2026–2027 school year! A new school year offers a fresh beginning and endless

opportunities for growth, learning, and success for everyone. Our first day for all students is Wednesday, September 2, and it will be a full day of school. Our complete school calendar can be accessed on our website or through the parent portal.

We are excited to welcome many new faces across our four schools this year, including teachers, educational assistants, support staff, and other certificated and non-certificated team members. Each of them brings new ideas, experiences, and talents to our district, and we look forward to the positive impact they will have on our students and school community. We are also pleased to welcome Mrs. Rachelle Quick as the new Assistant Principal of Maple Shade High School. Ms. Quick replaces Mr. Lowery, who left the district to accept a principal position. We wish him continued success and are excited to welcome Mrs. Quick to the Wildcat family.

Our new staff members are in place and eager to begin the year. Classrooms have been thoroughly cleaned and prepared, and our curriculum has been thoughtfully refined by our teachers and administrators. Everything is ready for our students to return, reconnect, explore, and learn.

As we begin another school year, I am filled with gratitude for the strength and spirit of our entire school community. Maple Shade is truly fortunate to have dedicated families who continually show up, lend a hand, and contribute to the life of our schools. It is a privilege to work alongside so many individuals who give their time and talents in service to our town. We can all take pride in being part of a community that values education and puts children first. The continued success of our schools and our shared vision depend on working together because we are, and always will be, one Wildcat family.
